The 2009 Northeast Tionól was held in East Durham, New York, from October 23-26. Piping instructors included Brian McNamara, Maire Ni Ghrada, Patrick Hutchinson, Bill Ochs, and Sean Ryan. Bruce Childress gave the reedmaking workshops, and Kathleen Collins and Cleek Schrey were the fiddle instructors. For details, view the website.

The 2008 Northeast Tionól was held in East Durham, New York, from October 24-26. Piping instructors included Mick O'Brien, Cormac Cannon, Patrick D'Arcy, Ivan Goff, Debbie Quigley, and Cillian Vallely. The 2006 Northeast Tionól was held in East Durham, New York, from October 6-9. Piping instructors included Tommy Keane, Marion McCarthy, Michael Cooney, Patrick D'Arcy, Patrick Hutchinson. Máire Ní Ghráda, Jimmy O'Brien-Moran, Michael Cooney, Ivan Goff, Debbie Quigley, and Benedict Koehler were all on the piping instruction staff; Mickey Dunne was the resident reedmaker.
